Refund Policy

1. Preamble

The website https://gingerfinance.in/ (the “Website”) and the respective mobile application (the “Application” and together with “Website” – the “Platform”) owned by BEE PEE JAY FINANCE LTD. (“us”, “we”, or “Company”).

The Company is a non-banking financial company (NBFC) duly registered and licensed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to engage activities relating to lending.

The Company maintains the Platform for the purpose of providing and facilitating user access to its lending products, i.e. personal loans (“Services”). Users that availed any loan facility from the Company become its “customers”/”borrowers”.

The purpose of this Refund Policy is to inform you of the Company’s refund terms and conditions applicable to loans received availed the Platform.

2. Refunds

Due to the digital nature of the Services, we are unable to provide refunds.  In most cases you have paid for Services and seen the results of using them and received benefits from the efforts or deployment and usage of licensed, online tools or services. 

However, we DO suggest that if you ARE having issues, you let us try to help you – submit an email support ticket to [email protected] before you decide to cancel.

Usually, it’s a simple fix to get things up and running for you again, or to determine why something broke for you – we’re here to help. 

If you feel that you were inappropriately charged for any service or product or would like to speak to someone about a refund for a different reason, please submit an email support ticket to [email protected].

Further, any refunds, if applicable within the purview of our refund policy, will be processed over a period of 2-4 weeks subject to the internal clearances and banking procedures.

3. Changes to this Refund Policy

The Company may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Refund Policy on the Platform and every user is assumed to have updated himself by going through this page periodically. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.

If You continue to use the Services after the date on which the change comes into effect, use of such Services shall be assumed as your agreement to be bound by the new refund policy.

4. Electronic document

This Refund Policy is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 and is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under in force, and the provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000 from time to time. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
